Ateev Mehrotra, M.D., MPH is an associate professor in the Department of Healthcare Policy at Harvard Medical School and a hospitalist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.Ateev’s research focuses on interventions to to decrease costs and improve quality of care. Much of his work has focused on innovations in delivery. He is also interested in the role of consumerism and whether price transparency and public reporting of quality can impact patient decision making.
